Monday's show pick: Bob Showdown benefit at Mohawk

Local folk-punk songwriter Bob Showdown is moving to Hawaii. To send them off right, his friends (who happen to play in some really rad bands) are throwing a going-away/benefit show at the Mohawk. Music starts at 8 and cover is $5. One of Austin's most inexplicably abrasive bands, Like Dogs, recently came back from indefinite hiatus and has already left a trail of bloody foreheads and dislocated shoulders in its wake. They're worth admission alone, but stay for the alt-folk orchestra Jesse Moore & the East Cameron Folkcore. Also, catch the indie hip-hop of The Moltyverse.
