The show: Terry Snow's Punk Rock Bingo Show @ Emo's
Basically: Play some Bingo at Emo's!

Basically: Every other Tuesday, this folk/country/punk-rock band sings about whiskey, taxes and the pitfalls of capitalism.

Basically: Birds, snakes and foxes, oh my! FTB is one of Austin's best up-n-comers.

Basically: Mash-Up Night at The Parish may result in bouts of spastic dancing and shame-free booty-shakin'.

The Blind Pets (2/26 at Trophy's)
The show: Jungle Rockers, The Blind Pets, Devil Rides @ Trophy's - $5
Basically: Trophy's two-day Dave Fest promises heaviness.

The show: Baby Got Bacteria, Scary Mary, Stupid Drama, Juliana Murphy @ Chupacabra Cantina
Basically: Proceeds of this benefit show help Scorpio Rising's lead singer pay for her breast cancer treatment.

The show: Prince Klassen @ Beauty Bar
Basically: Dance to the eclectic tastes of one of Austin's best established indie DJs.

The Always Already (2/27)
The showThe Always Already's last show ever, Zorch @ Beauty Bar
Basically: This post-punk/dance-rock quartet bids the world adieu after four years of bringing the intricate beats and slinky synth lines.

The showThe White White Lights [EP release], The Happen-Ins, Cowabunga Babes @ Emo's
Basically: A hot young indie band that oozes charisma releases its debut EP.

The show: Neiliyo [EP release] @ Club de Ville
Basically: One-man dance party Neiliyo brings the funktronica in a polo shirt and shades.

The show: Black Bone Child, Amplified Heat, Best Love In Town @ Stubb's [indoor] - Doors at 9p - $8
Basically: A solid showcase featuring heavy rock and dirty delta blues.

The show: Versatile Syndicate 2-year anniversary with Jesse Moore [10p] Bridge Farmers [11p], Watching The Moon [midnight] @ Hole in the Wall - 9p
Basically: Versatile Syndicate compilation CD listening party with live performances.

The show: The Invincible Czars performs The Unknown @ Alamo Drafthouse Ritz
Basically: A unique Austin gem of a band performs a live film score to a black-and-white move at this indie movie theatre.
